Put on your yellow wristbands ( 1st stage ) today and start achieving your hardest goals”… The Goal Bands Game is an incredibly easy way for participants of any age to achieve goals that had previously eluded them, and can be enjoyed by virtually anyone, in any setting ( family, school, company, etc. ). The Goal Bands Game utilizes color coded wristbands to establish a reward/reminder dynamic that is both tactile and visual. The colors parallel those of the belt system in karate, with each wristband representing a stage of the program. There are 6 stages within the program, with participants switching wristbands, and colors, daily upon goal success. The complete Goal Bands Game program cycle should take, ideally, 1 week ( 1 day, 1 wristband. 2 days for the ‘blackbelt’ ). The goals are meant for individual achievement ( ie Sally reads at night for 1/2 hr., Peter stops talking while the teacher is talking, Dad exercises every night, Mom eats a salad for lunch ) though groups of any size can participate and common goals may be established as well ( ie  Daily family walk/hike ). The framework of the Goal Bands Game program allows for flexibilty in the setting of the goals. Goals can be changed for each daily stage ( ie Monday, study French for 1 hr. after school; Tuesday, practice violin … ). Or, goals can be the same for the whole ‘game’ cycle ( ie 1/2 hr. reading and 1/2 hr. of writing practice each night, do homework without being told…). The Game is for all ages and Goals can be :
1) purely academic in nature ( see, above examples ),
2) health and fitness oriented ( ie no junk foods, no snacking between meals…Â ),
3) disease prevention and/or maintenance ( ie quit smoking, quit drinking, reduce dietary salt and sugars… ),        Â
4)Â safety ( ie stay out of the wave pool at summer camp, always wear your bike helmet while riding, no talking to strangers, wear your seatbelt, 2 glasses of wine max before driving… ),Â
5) beauty ( ie wear your sunblock, work on your abs, drink 6 glasses of water per day… )
6) financial ( ie bring your lunch, use coupons, save your change, no impulse shopping…)
7)Â Coaching ( ie batting stance correction, golf swing and follow thru…),
Closing the gap between great distances ( ie grandma in Fla. plays with grandkids in NY, overseas’ servicemen and women play with kids back home…)
9) etc. etc.
 We offer 3 sizes of wristbands S, M, L so that adults ( ie parents, grandparents, teachers… ) can ‘play’ Goal Bands Game along with their kids. This enhances the program dynamic within the home, classroom, workplace and makes it easy for positive changes in their lives as well.
